EOC Week 2 : My Demography

I am apart of generation Y. I feel like the description about gen yers is dead on. I am for the most part very impatient, opinionated and I stay connected to most of the people I have been friends with. I have or have had just about all of the social networking sites that have come across our plates within the last few years. Given I only use one or two of them now, but somehow I have managed to even keep in contact with people from elementary school to family members I have never even met. Gen yers have an advantage over most of Gen X’s and most definitely an advantage over baby boomers, because we pick up very fast on the new technological advances. My grandmother asked for my help on putting in phone numbers to her cell phone. It took her a few times and an instruction list I had made for her until she finally understood it. My mom is a few years shy of being a baby boomer so she is a Gen X. She is not as open and understanding to people who are much more diverse than us. I try to explain my different beliefs and understandings to her, but the result of any conversation we have is just one huge fight. Being that I am a Gen Y, as you have read has its advantages but it also has some disadvantages.

EOC Week 2 : Favorite Fast Food

Favorite Fast Food

As a child my favorite fast food joint was, of course, McDonald's. My preschool/kindergarten was right up the street from a McDonald's. It has a giant play land and my grandfather would take me there every day after class. I would always order a Hamburger Happy Meal and play in the play land for about an hour. My mom would always tell me to never open my toys because one day they would be collectibles. As a 6 year old child, that would always upset me because I never understood what the point was for the toys if I was not allowed to open them. To this day, my mom still has a bucket full of those old toys and says they’re going to be worth something.

Week 1 EOC

The world is your runway, and I am the one who designed it.

NC.Rose Events is about having your event be the talk of the town. Being one of the most notable event coordination companies, working with top fashion designers to small Indie filmmakers, we are here to set your stage and to have you own it.

All throughout school I never knew what it is that I wanted to do. I have changed my mind more times than anyone can count on what career I wanted to seek out. Going from being a teacher to a buyer even to being a pharmacist, I finally found my niche after being an assistant director in a Balloon Couture fashion show. After that everything seemed so clear. I knew what I wanted to do and how it was I was going to get there.

Planning, directing, styling, creating, from the outside in it seems like my life is a whirlwind; when really my life is one big party and you are the guest of honor.
